The spotted house - Tiree, Inner Hebrides

I cut yellow irises from the garden and put them in the painted wine bottle and it made me thinking about good climatic design.

The iris tuber is from Tiree, about 15 years ago we collected them near the spotted house - where H and I - both from Edinburgh - spent the summer at this building for two decades. (The bottle was a gift for N, she was about 8 years old, from the fisherman’s wife.)
